Fuel Testing Technician:
The Role
The Compliance Testing Technician position is responsible for performing inspections and testing on underground storage tanks, dispensing equipment, and other components that monitor the system. It’s our job to ensure our customers are in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities
- DPLeak Vacuum containment sump testing
- Spill bucket testing
- Tank and line testing
- Ensuring proper installation and function of leak detectors and sensors
- Automatic Tank Gauge testing
- Overfill Prevention Verification
- Miscellaneous other forms of compliance testing
- Occasionally repairing or replacing components as needed
- Record and maintain documentation in a methodical and organized manner
- Communicate with customers and effectively explain technical issues to non-technical people
- Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order.
- Appropriate equipment training and safety training will be provided.
- Position may not perform all duties listed above.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, remove, and service Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Install, remove, and service fuel dispensers, control equipment, and back-office computer systems.
- Troubleshoot client issues and restore systems to normal operation.
- Identify areas of concern and non-compliance; propose solutions.
- Perform work safely, complying with safety guidelines.

Provides overall administrative and technical direction on site. Manages subcontractors’ work performance and productivity. Enforces company and project policies, and ensures project is constructed in accordance with the design, safety, quality, and schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities
General
- 
All Activities associated with Laborer 3 
- 
Responsible for the day to day onsite management of the project they are assigned to. 
- 
Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures

Communicate with project Sub-Contractors and corporate office personnel as necessary to coordinate work 
- 
Motivates and leads the construction team, resolves employee relations problems 
- 
Recommends employment actions, evaluates performance, and provides work direction for assigned staff

Observes and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, OSHA regulations, DEQ, Local building codes, nondiscrimination requirements. 
Pre-Construction
- 
Develop a complete understanding of the plans and specifications, including the subcontractor’s scope of work 
- 
Review and verify all contractor’s Scope of Work against RFP and Specifications 
- 
Review shop drawings for errors and clarification 
- 
Prior to job startup, review with the job Superintendent the project plans, specifications and review the project startup list to ensure that each item is done, i.e. Dispenser electrical has been contracted. 
During Construction
- 
Make sure that labor has the timecards on a timely basis and that the coding is correct in Clock Shark, then forward them to the Superintendent.

Ensure all required equipment documentation is completed and accurate.

Complete Daily Job Reports and submit to Superintendent 
- 
Responsible for providing a safe work environment and ensure jobsite safety procedures and policies are communicated and enforced.

Hold Weekly Safety meetings and Document all Safety Talks. 
- 
Orders materials, tools and equipment as needed

Provide proper security for tools and job equipment

Maintain an organized and clean job site

Review Schedule with Superintendent
